Good morning everyone, I hope this message finds you well and staying safe in the current situation we all find ourselves in at present.
I woke this weekend with a horrible cold and not feeling great – so as you can appreciate, for the safety and wellbeing of our small office, my family and others in our building, we had no option but to take the decision yesterday (Sunday) to start self isolating as a family and to close our office and workshop this week and work as best as we can remotely, which I know some of you are already doing or planning for.
We will review our situation and the UK government advice/guidelines this time next week and update you then, but for the time being please note the following:
Currently, any and all manufacturing work that we currently carry out in house including laser cut and engraved merchandise, mugs, coasters, kit box plates etc… and of course the precious and much loved ID badges, cannot for obvious reasons carry on at this moment in time L
Due to the surge in last minute orders before the 501st merch cut off on the 10th, we had in fact already started work on the current March 2020 orders in readiness of a potential delay in light of Covid-19, but it seem my health and government advice has beaten us to the post.
As much as I’d love to, it is physically impossible to move and relocate our equipment, including an enormous laser engraver, extraction unit and coolant system into my conservatory and just carry on from home J – my wife and family are very understanding, but there are limits!
What we make is not considered priority or essential equipment at this current time. But I also understand that we all need the nice shiny stuff too. Lifting spirits, keeping people smiling and happy is just as important as our general health and wellbeing.. so I understand its frustrating that your merch might not be delivered as soon as you would like – believe me I get it. We will do our best to keep you all smiling and get your shiny stuff to you as soon as we can, but please bear with me.
Wishing you all well during this difficult situation and unprecedented times we currently find ourselves in. Please stay safe everyone and I will keep you posted regarding progress with existing orders as and when we can.
